Sous les étoiles
Gentilly (94)A house extension slipped between two existing buildings, opening onto the garden through a glazed orangery.

The extension completes a wider property project, which concluded with the construction of a 7-apartment rental building at 42 avenue Pasteur.
Its particularity is its position in a gap between a traditional house and a first rental building at 40 avenue Pasteur. The extension reaches out for views of the garden with a fully glazed winter garden, in the manner of an orangery. This projection subtly shields the terrace of the existing house from the new building, so that both the shared use of the garden and everyone's privacy are preserved.
Structurally, the project is supported on either side, like a bridge, and creates a continuous street front on avenue Pasteur.
The interior fittings respond to the family's specific uses, including a « podium » that holds a bed, under the stars. The bathrooms offer hidden views of the courtyard garden and bring the outside in.
